The mountain range of the Pilanesberg is the remains of an extinct Vulcan. The highest point here is 1687 meter and 600 meter of Lake Mankwe which is the heard of the Pilanesberg National Park. It's 55000ha contain white and black rhinos, antelopes, zebras, giraffes, hippos, elephants, leopards, Lions and many small species including the honeybadger. This prime destination is easily reached from Johannesburg and Pretoria for a day or overnight visit.
Sun City
Sun City is an enormous Park with Hotels, Casino, Restaurants, Clubs, Bars and Cinema. Activities include golf (the famous 18-hole golf course of Gary Player country club), squash, bowling or horse riding.
Lost City
Lost city is a fairytale city with a castle, pools and gardens. This 25ha adult playground looks like the African jungle with waterfalls and little lakes and the big castle. Special interest counts the Valley of waves where you can swim in waves nearly as in the real ocean.
